Google Chrome OS Launching Soon

Hello Guys!!

Google is on a Roll..we have already discussed Google Wave and Google Go now Google is all set to drop its bomb on Microsoft with Google Chrome OS or Google Operating System.

The Project was “Made Public”  in July 2009 at the Official Google Blog and now we are hearing that It will be ready for launch within the few weeks. But before you get too excited you should know what its all about and what we can expect from Google Chrome Operating System.

Google has taken a different approach while developing Google Chrome OS, with the passage of time and revolution in the application industry why do you need an Operating System in the first place. Imagine when all the functions of operating system will be handled by web applications. For example The desktop mail client could be replaced by Gmail, the calendaring application could be replaced by Google Calendar, the office suite has lightweight alternatives: Google Docs and Zoho, it makes more sense to use an online feed reader like Google Reader, your scientific calculator is less powerful than Wolfram Alpha.

The Only hurdle that Google has to overcome is the drivers for the hard wares. Google is mostly relying on the manufacturers for supplying the drivers for the Google Operating System. Lets see how that works out. Also the Google Chrome OS will target mainly the Netbooks during its initial phase before rolling out Chrome OS . That makes sense..since most of the netbook users are mostly web bugs no offense there.

But the message I want to spread out is  Google is Moving Fast way too fast to keep up the pace and we need a company like Google to break the unethical and monopolistic approach of Microsoft. Lets say  5-6 years from now and we will have much better options rather than  seeing Operating System and Internet the way MICROSOFT wants us to see & believe. Google Rocks

How To Get Google Wave Invitation

Hello readers,

Quick update on Google Wave. There are two ways on how get google wave invitation:

1- Fillup the Google Wave Signup Form : Google sends out invitation to majority of the people from the data collected through this form. They send invitations periodically, so the first thing you want to do is fill up the signup form.

2- Get an Google Wave Invitation form a user : After you have done the above step you can start hunting for google wave invite from your contacts or friends!

I cant wait to use this amazing tool!!

Google “Go” : New Programming Language

Hey Guys..

Cant wait to spread the word. Google just launched its new programming language Google Go . Google as a company has never been so active. We have already discussed Google Wave which is all set to change the way we communicate and now we have google go!

Go is an open-source development language that Google believes will combine performance with speed, and one that the company probably hopes will reshape the development and software industries in its favor. Its based on one of the most widely used programming language C

The best part is that it will have elements of “Python” which we all know is preferred by google. I think google is looking to change the programming and software industry in its favour!

Google Wave : New Communication Tool

Hey Guys! Have you heard about Google Wave? Well Its the next big thing from google!

Google recently had an conference where they revealed Google Wave and Communication and Documentation tool (Browser Based) which will revolutionize the way we email and instant message each other. Built by the same team that created google maps.

The fact as stated in the video that Email was created 40 Years ago and then followed by internet and other stuff had lead to emailing system which are not based upon todays programming and developmental expertise.

Its a Long video 1:30 mins!! BUT YOU WILL BE AMAZED TO SEE what all you can do with this thing. The best thing is it is open source that means people can contribute to its development and application building. Expected to be launched in couple of months…so keep an eye on it

I am pretty sure google wave will change the way we communicate.
