I was recently surfing the internet to find a service that can help me change or customize my twitter background, and I came across TwitBack.

You just have to upload your image, your logo, your website URL, write down the text that you want to be displayed in the online form and with a click of the button you are ready to go.

The Science Of Viral Retweets
If you are not using twitter to expand your business or bring more people to visit your blog, gain more subscribers or to make money online you are certainly missing out big chunk of the pie!
Twitter has grown enormously in last two years and many new features have been added to it since then. One of them is Retweets. Retweet is a feature where with just a click of a button your message can be sent to your follower’s follower time line, but why would your followers like to retweet your message? Well if you manage to make them do that it can go viral and bring thousands of visitors to your link in the original tweet. It is just like asking your friend to send your email out to his subscriber list, the best part is it does not end there. What if there followers decide to retweet it?? Now that’s what we call viral Retweets!
So what factors do govern or what kind of tweets have more chances to go viral?
1- Who was the original Twetter: Well, it is very simple, if you have more followers there are more chances of getting retweets . Say for example you have 20,000 followers then you have a better chance than a guy who has just 1000 followers! But, guess what it has less impact than what you think.
2-The Content Of The Tweet: This is by far the most important factor in getting your tweets to go viral!
Words like “You” (makes a connection), “twitter”(twittering about twitter), “Please”( yeah please), “retweet”(tell them to retweet), “blog”, “post” (twittering about social media and blogs) are few words that have much better chances of being retweeted.
A research conducted by Dan Zarella shows following word with there occurence rates depending upon the number of retweets they got.
3-Timing of The Tweet: Well, you just cannot underrate this factor. Study shows that a tweet that starts at EST business timing has a marked increase in number of retweets and grows during day and night time. My personal experience is also the same, a tweet made in the morning has more chances of getting retweeted and becoming viral.
4- The Retweet Cascade : Similar to information cascade where people observe that other people are retweeting a particular tweet they are more like to retweet it by themselves! They relate it to some kind of compulsion, doing the same thing what others are doing . Reason is inherent human behaviour to go with the masses.
So the next time you tweet something and want it to go viral, keep these suggestions in mind!!
